1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Reel Counter, you confirm that:

• You are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• You have read and understood our Privacy Policy

2. License to Use

2.1 Grant of License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Reel Counter on your personal Android device solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

2.2 Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Copy, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices or labels on the App
• Use the App for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its related systems
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts, scrapers) to interact with the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers
• Rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or redistribute the App

3. Description of Service

Reel Counter is an intelligent digital mindfulness companion designed to:

• Track the number of short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, Spotlight) you view on supported social media platforms
• Display a floating counter HUD showing real-time usage statistics
• Allow you to set custom daily viewing limits
• Send mindful reminder notifications when you reach your goals
• Provide platform-by-platform usage breakdowns
• Track time preserved and build habit streaks
• Optionally block targeted apps when daily limits are reached

3.1 Supported Platforms

Reel Counter currently tracks short-form video content from:

• Instagram Reels
• YouTube Shorts
• Facebook Reels
• Snapchat Spotlight

Note: We do not own, control, or have any affiliation with these third-party platforms. Tracking functionality may be affected by updates to these apps.

4. Permissions and Accessibility Services

4.1 Required Permissions

Reel Counter requires the following Android permissions to function:

We use Android's Accessibility Service API in strict compliance with Google Play policies. This permission is used exclusively for digital wellbeing purposes and never to collect, store, or transmit sensitive user data. You may revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings.

5. User Accounts and Data

5.1 No Account Required

Reel Counter does NOT require account registration, email, or passwords. The App is 100% anonymous.

5.2 Local Data Storage

All your usage statistics, reel counts, and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not upload your scrolling data to external servers.

5.3 Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by clearing the App's data in your device settings or uninstalling the App.

6. Advertising

Reel Counter is a free app supported by Google AdMob advertisements. By using the App, you agree to:

• View non-intrusive advertisements delivered through Google AdMob
• Allow AdMob to collect anonymous advertising identifiers for ad personalization (you can opt out in device settings)
• Understand that ads are served by Google and governed by Google's Privacy Policy

We never share your reel counts or usage data with advertisers.

7. Third-Party Services

Reel Counter integrates with the following third-party services:

7.1 Google AdMob

For advertisement delivery. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Ad Terms.

7.2 Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics

For anonymous app analytics and crash reporting. Governed by Firebase Privacy Policy.

7.3 Google Play In-App Updates

For seamless background app updates. Governed by Google Play Terms of Service.

Important: We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party services. Please review their respective terms and policies.

8. User Conduct

You agree to use Reel Counter responsibly and NOT to:

• Attempt to bypass, disable, or manipulate the tracking functionality
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
• Use the App in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair our services

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Ownership

All rights, title, and interest in and to Reel Counter, including all intellectual property rights, are owned by us or our licensors. This includes:

• App design, code, and functionality
• Reel Counter name, logo, and branding
• All content, graphics, and user interface elements

9.2 Trademarks

The Reel Counter name and logo are our trademarks. Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Snapchat are trademarks of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Reel Counter is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Warranties that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or virus-free
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of usage tracking

Use at Your Own Risk: We do not guarantee that Reel Counter will help you reduce screen time or achieve your digital wellness goals. Results vary by individual.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall NOT be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Statements or conduct of any third party on or through the App
• Issues arising from third-party apps (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat)

Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of Reel Counter shall not exceed $10 USD or the amount you paid for the App (whichever is greater).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Reel Counter, its developers, affiliates, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your misuse of the App
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any content you submit or data you provide

13. Updates and Modifications

13.1 App Updates

We may release updates, bug fixes, or new features for Reel Counter at any time. Updates may be delivered automatically through Google Play In-App Updates or may require manual installation. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the changes.

13.2 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify you through the App or via a prominent notice
• Require you to accept the new Terms before continuing to use the App

Your continued use of Reel Counter after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Termination

14.1 Termination by You

You may stop using Reel Counter at any time by uninstalling the App from your device.

14.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Reel Counter at any time, with or without notice, if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Attempt to reverse engineer or tamper with the App

14.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, you must immediately cease using the App and delete all copies from your devices. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will continue to apply.

15. Geographic Restrictions

Reel Counter is intended for use worldwide. However, we make no representation that the App is appropriate or available for use in all locations. If you access the App from a jurisdiction where its use is prohibited, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

16. Children's Use

Reel Counter is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will delete it immediately.

17. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, labor disputes, or interruptions in internet or telecommunications services.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Reel Counter regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or representations.

20. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

20.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law principles.

20.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Reel Counter shall be resolved through:

• Informal Negotiation: First, contact us at support@techwinlabs.com to attempt to resolve the issue informally
• Binding Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with [Arbitration Rules]
• Class Action Waiver: You agree to bring claims only on an individual basis and not as part of a class action or collective proceeding

20.3 Exceptions

Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property infringement or unauthorized use of the App.

21. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it in the future.

22. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction, including to any successor or acquirer of our business.

23. Government Use

If you are a government entity or using the App on behalf of a government, Reel Counter is provided as "Commercial Computer Software" under applicable regulations.

24. Export Control

You agree to comply with all applicable export and import control laws and regulations. You may not use or export the App in violation of any trade sanctions or embargoes.
